The Department of Biomolecular Sciences aims to contribute toward the development of medicine through the research on the field of molecular biology. We have made significant achievements by biochemical, genetic 
and immunological approaches as well as by morphological, physiological and epidemiological research. Twenty and several faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, laboratory technicians, and secretaries, plus many students of doctoral and master's programs are actively engaged in the research and the education activities.
